Joe Evans, a proud NAVY Veteran and the founder and CEO of Nordic Telecom, starting his career in telecom at NY Telephone which became Verizon. Joe began as an Outside Plant Technician and soon became a lineman. At Verizon, Joe cross trained as a copper splicer, progressing to an installation and repair technician as well as on the installation of the FIOS fiber plant on Long Island. After leaving Verizon Joe worked for small telecom companies performing structured cable installations, installing data closet/racks and associated equipment along with repair work for networking issues. Seeking to expand his capabilities Joe took and passed the CCNA course through Cisco Academy to elevate his trouble shooting ability. Joe Evans formed Nordic Telecom, LLC in 2014 with a simple goal to provide quality technicians who excel at both installations as well as upgrades and repairs. Encouraged by a strong desire to teach and share knowledge Nordic has sought and trained technicians who share the founder’s passion for fixing problems. Joe has focused on building a company that answers the call for the Managed Service Providers (MSP) we contract with. When a Nordic technician arrives on a jobsite you can be assured that they will be able to complete the scope of work. When an MSP contacts Nordic, it is never a question of whether our techs can do the job, but how quickly they can get to the jobsite. Team member bios coming soon. |
